Management Committee

EDAA’s Management Committee is proactively developing strategies and programs that will lead the industry forward and ensure it is prepared for changes in trends and policies.

EDAA’s Management Committee is elected each year. Our current team have extensive industry experience and are:

President - Peter Cosgrove

Peter’s involvement with EDAA began in 1971 and since then has passionately worked to build EDAA’s profile. He has many years management experience in the industry with brands that include Kelvinator, Dishlex, Vulcan, Southcorp, Hoover, MEA Blanco, Hagemeyer and Bissell.

 

Vice President - Ross Dight

Ross is Queensland State Manager for Housewares International (HWI), responsible for the major brands of Breville, Kambrook, Phillips and Ronson. Ross’s experience also includes Retail Manager for selected SEQEB appliance outlets and as State Buyer Retravision.

 

Secretary / Treasurer - Jamie Banks

Jamie owns and runs Endeavour Refrigeration and Appliance Service, one of south east Queensland’s largest service businesses of whitegoods and air conditioning. Jamie strongly supports the maintenance of electrical service industry apprenticeship programs.

 

Office bearer - Seamus Sullivan

He has over 30 years experience in lighting and electrical from running his own Gold Coast retail store, to marketing and developing well known lighting and electrical outlet brands such as Brittains McEwan, Haymans and IES (Ideal Electrical Suppliers).

 

Manager - John McNaughton

John's long term commitment to EDAA continues today from his 30 year career with GE. John is committed to providing value to EDAA members in the provision of services and ensuring that the voice of the industry is heard by government and other important stakeholders.
