Australia hosts International Standby Power Conference
The Australian Government, in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation and the International Energy Agency is hosting a free International Conference on Standby Power in Canberra on 6-7 November 2006.
Industry leaders will outline why reducing standby power is so important to the industry and how a common international approach is the most cost effective mechanism to deliver the reductions sought by governments.
A national discussion will follow the international program on 7-8 November 2006.
The conference is free and registrations close 30 October 2006.
